Since 26 February 2015, Rangiora High School has been governed by a Commissioner appointed by the Minister of Education. Under section 78O of the Education Act 1989, the Commissioner has all the functions, powers and duties of the Board of Trustees. The Commissioner is Mrs Bev Moore.


Rangiora High School will have a new Board of Trustees in place by the end of Term 1. The Commissioner's recent letter to Rangiora High School families is available below:

The timeline for the election of the Board of Trustees is as follows: 


Call for nominations: Friday 9 March 2018
Nominations close: Friday 23 March
Voting: Wednesday 28 March to Friday 6 April
Votes counted: Thursday 12 April
New BOT takes office: Friday 13 April (the last day of Term 1)
