Welcome to our website. Rangiora High School is a co-educational secondary school with a roll of almost 1700 students. We employ over 180 teaching and support staff, all of whom are dedicated to all aspects of student achievement.

Established by an Act of Parliament in 1884, Rangiora High School is an innovative school with a 126 year tradition of providing the families of North Canterbury with quality education. We are a professional learning community committed to providing the best possible teaching and learning opportunities in a supportive student-centred environment.

The Rangiora High School campus has a pleasant rural outlook, is adjacent to our own school farm and is just 20 minutes from Christchurch - the largest city on the beautiful South Island of New Zealand.
