Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow
This year the Ministry of Education has a goal of raising student attendance as part of raising student achievement. The government's target is for 80% of students to attend school more than 90% of the time (90% means less than 5 days absent in each term).
Here at Rangiora High School, we know that students who are absent for more than 5 days each term have far less chance of success. We want to work in partnership with parents and whānau to ensure your children attend school regularly.
The SchoolBridge app is our primary method for notifying the school of student absences, lateness, or early departures. Reporting an absence via the app takes just a few seconds and replaces the need to call the office or send separate emails. This ensures our attendance team receives your notification immediately and can update our records accurately.
Setting set up the SchoolBridge app is simple and only takes a couple of minutes:
EITHER... Download the App: Search for "SchoolBridge" in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
OR... Visit the RHS website to get the SchoolBridge app: Scroll down and click the orange SchoolBridge button.
Sign In: Open the app and choose "Sign in with Magic Link" or use your existing Parent Portal login details.
Stay Logged In: Once you are signed in, the app will keep you logged in so you can quickly report absences or check school info on the go.
