International Student Fees

Tuition fees are NZ$11,500 per annum or NZ$2875 per term. All tuition fees are inclusive of New Zealand Goods and Services Tax. These fees cover normal school tuition, all school-related activities and materials.

Additional costs vary according to the individual programme chosen by the student and are not covered by the standard tuition fee. These may include:

NCEA Fees NZ$400.00 for entry to external exams.
Uniform - for students in Years 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. Approximately NZ$500.00 for girls and slightly less for boys. Second-hand uniforms are available from our Parent/Teacher Association.
Health & Travel Insurance approximately NZ$470.00 approx for 12 months – compulsory.
Adventure Education approximately NZ$2000.00 per annum or NZ$500.00 per term.

Health and Travel Insurance

This will cost approximately NZ$470.00 per annum and is compulsory. It is essential that students have adequate insurance cover, both medical and property. Medical costs in New Zealand are very expensive for non-residents. Students may purchase Uni-Care Travel and Medical Insurance through the school, prior to leaving their country.

Accommodation

Costs are NZ$200.00 per week. Placement fee NZ$500.00 per year. During the school year, Overseas Students must live with either:

A parent, or
A designated caregiver chosen by the parents, e.g. a guardian or relative, or
Homestay accommodation approved by the school.

If the student wants to stay in homestay accommodation, the Homestay Accommodation Form must be completed and will form part of these Conditions of Enrolment. The school must be advised in writing at least 7 days prior to any change to the Overseas Student’s accommodation.

Guardians

Guardians can be arranged by the school if the parent or agent requests this. The cost of a guardian can be up to NZ$3,000.00 per year. Guardians are optional.
