Examinations and Assessments

 

NCEA Examination Timetable

 

The NCEA (Levels 1-3) and New Zealand Scholarship examination sessions are all three hours with the exception of Information Management, which is two hours. The examination sessions all commence at either 9.30am or 2.00pm. The timetable for the 2010 NCEA examinations can be viewed here.

 

Assessment Weeks

 

At the end of each term, Year 9 short courses hold a formal assessment period.

 

Year 11-13 senior assessment weeks will be held in:

  • Term 2, Weeks 6 and 7. This is an in class assessment period with no formal study leave for seniors.
  • Term 3, Weeks 5 and 6. This will be a formal assessment period with timetabled examinations and practical assessments. Seniors will get study leave around these assessments. 
  • NZQA's 2010 NCEA examinations start in mid-November. The timetable for the 2010 NCEA examinations can be viewed here.

 

Year 9-10 junior assessment week will be held in:

  • Term 4, Weeks 3 and 4.
