Assessment and Examinations

NCEA Examination Timetable

The NCEA (Levels 1-3) and New Zealand Scholarship examination sessions are all three hours. The examination sessions all commence at either 9.30am or 2.00pm. The timetable for the 2012 NCEA and Scholarship examinations can be viewed here.

Assessment Weeks

In addition to end-of-year assessments, at the end of Term 2 a formal assessment period will be held in all Year 9 and 10 semester courses.

In 2012, Year 11-13 senior assessment weeks will be held in:

• Term 2, Week 6 (Monday 28 May to Friday 1 June)
  This is an in class assessment period with no formal study leave for seniors.
   
• Term 3, Weeks 9-10 (Wednesday 12 September to Wednesday 19 September)
  This will be a formal assessment period with timetabled examinations and practical assessments. Seniors will get study leave around these assessments.
