Assessment and Examinations

NCEA Examination Timetable

The NCEA (Levels 1-3) and New Zealand Scholarship examination sessions are all three hours. The examination sessions all commence at either 9.30am or 2.00pm. The timetable for the 2013 NCEA and Scholarship examinations can be viewed here.

Assessment Weeks

In addition to end-of-year assessments, at the end of Term 2 a formal assessment period will be held in all Year 9 and 10 semester courses.

In 2013, Year 11-13 senior assessment weeks will be held in:

• Term 2, Week 7 (Monday 27 May to Friday 31 May)
  This is an in class assessment period with no formal study leave for seniors.
   
• Term 3, Weeks 5-6 (Thursday 29 August to Thursday 5 September)
  This will be a formal assessment period with timetabled examinations and practical assessments. Seniors will get study leave for these assessments.
