Land-based Studies consists of ten specialist subjets:

• Animal Husbandry (Year 9)
• Agriculture and Horticulture (Year 9)
• Animal Husbandry and Horticulture (Year 10) 
• Horticulture (Year 10)
• Agriculture (Year 11, NCEA Level 1)
• Equine Studies (from Year 11, NCEA Level 1)
• Rural Skills (from Year 11, NCEA Level 1)
• Agriculture and Animal Husbandry (from Year 11, NCEA Level 1)
• Animal Husbandry (Year 12, NCEA Level 2)
