  • To strengthen curriculum design and delivery. NAG 1.

  • To raise students’ expectations of and aspirations for their own achievement potential
  • To review and complete implementation of the school-wide plan for improved student achievement
  • To augment the school’s Operation Grant funding by developing an investment and income strategy for Board funds, to achieve financial autonomy
  • To develop and promote a ‘Special Character’ brand for Rangiora High School

  • To utilise both Government funding and funds available to the Board of Trustees to create an innovative and modern curriculum.
  • To forge positive and proactive relationships with Ngai Tahu and our local rūnanga.
  • To provide opportunities for Māori to enjoy education success as Māori.
  • To ensure the school’s infrastructure is used appropriately.
  • To create synergy with our environment.
  • To ensure sufficient resources to meet student and curriculum need.
  • To provide students and staff with appropriate technology.
  • To address the social, cultural and academic needs of all students.
  • To be student focussed.
  • To consider the educational benefits of the ‘special character’ of Rangiora High School.
  • To ensure that pedagogy / best practice is innovative and cutting edge.
