Pilates - Introductory

 

This course focusses on promoting core body strength, flexibility, muscle tone, balance, posture and breathing. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

   *Identify the elements of good posture

   *Perform a basic set of Pilates exercises

   *Perform exercises at an appropriate level for your body and know when to move up from that level

   * Identify which muscles to engage for core strength

   Blanket and a yoga mat.

   A small cushion
